KUMQUAT

The kumquat is the smallest citrus fruit and the only one with edible skin. Like all citrus fruits its pulp is acidic but its skin is sweet.

Storage

Kumquats can easily keep for a week at room temperature and in the fridge they can be stored for up to 3 weeks.

Preparation

Kumquats can be consumed whole or by peeling their skin off. We can also cut them into slices for salads or cocktails. They are also used in marmalades.
